Back to Sold Writing Tables

A good quality and useful sized table measuring 59” by 39” fitted with an old burgundy leather writing surface with gilt tooling.

The table has rounded corners, has a thumb moulded edge and is fitted two drawers to either side of the length.

The drawers are mahogany lined, have hand cut dovetail joints, ogee moulding's to the fronts and brass ring handles.
The legs are boldly turned and stand on the original brass and ceramic casters.

The table has not been restored for a long time and has developed a rich patina so admired in antique furniture.
It has undergone wax polishing and minor repairs whilst in our workshop.
