William 1V Mahogany Writing Table

This good quality mahogany writing table is fitted with a dark tan hide writing surface with decorative gilt tooling edges. The hide is surrounder by a border of figured mahogany with bull nose moulded edge and rounded corners.

There are two drawers fitted beneath the writing surface which are mahogany lined and of dovetail constructuion with turned wooded knob pulls.

The table has paneled sides and back and stands on four attractive turned and reeded legs with the original brass and white ceramic castors. The brass castor cups are marked for the manufacturer 'Clark and Timmious'

The table is made from top quality timber with attractive figuring and has recently been restored.
