Antique Bookcases: Edwardian Oak Library Bookcase C1910. Ref:SN391 |
A Quality Antique Oak Bookcase from the Early 20th Century. This handsome antique bookcase is a good size, being 88 inches wide. The bookcase is made from solid oak and comes in two sections for easy transport.
The top section has two pairs of leaded light doors each with three adjustable shelves. There is an open centre section with two shaped shelves, bordered with checkered inlay. The base has four drawers, each with checkered inlay and swan neck handles. Below the drawers are four cupboard doors, each fitted with figured walnut panels.
The four
cupboards each have shelves and all the cupboards and drawers are fitted
with locks and keys. The bookcase stands on a plinth base and is an attractive
golden oak colour in exceptionally good condition and could be used without
need for any restoration.
