Burrell's Antique Desks: Restoration Service
About Our Antique Restoration Service
We offer a full and part restoration service for your antique desk or other antique furniture and a no obligation quote can be given when you send us details of your requirements. Sending us good photographs of your piece of furniture is essential for an accurate estimate to be made and collection and delivery can be arranged at a time to suit you.
Restoration work may include the following:
• Re-leathering the writing surface.
• Repairing and/or replacing damaged veneers
• French polishing
• Replacement of lost or damaged furnishings; knobs, handles, lock
fobs etc.
• Fitting casters or removing casters.
• Repairing cracked panels and damaged linings.
This is not an exhaustive list so please contact us if you would like
to discuss a particular requirement.
Most of our restoration work is undertaken by George Hartshorne who is
a very experienced antique furniture restorer.
