This
original hand made and well patinated Windsor chair is from Nottinghamshire
area*. The chair is made from ash and beech with an elm seat and has developed
a beautiful rich warm brown patina over the years.
Like
all original Windsor chairs it has been made by local crafts men by hand
and has its own original quirky style, for example you can see that the
back splat is not perfectly symmetrical, which it would be if it were
machine cut.
The chair is very comfortable to sit in and would made a good office chair
or dining room chair.
