Antique Edwardian Steinway Stool

An Edwardian Steinway Stool circa 1900

This Steinway style stool, numbered 93786, is designed to compliment a Steinway piano. It does however make very useful occasional office seating.

It has a deep buttoned seat, reupholstered in brown hide.The stool was originally upholstered in hide of a similar colour. Either side of the top are circular knobs designed to adjust the height of the seat via a cantilever mechanism beneath the seat.
The stool retains its original mahogany stained finish and has square tapering legs.
