A well made 1920's Jacobean style pedestal desk made
by G.T. Rackstraw, Worcester, England with original label.
This is a top quality, distressed oak pedestal desk
constructed in the 17th century style. It still has its original brown
hide writing surface.
It is fitted with 7 drawers all with mitre cushion moulded
faced with walnut veneers and brass pear drop handles.
The drawers are all oak lined and each fitted with a
lock. The desk has paneled sides and back with a pegged framework
construction in the traditional manner. It stands on 8 bun feet.
