A handsome
and well proportioned antique Victorian mahogany partner's desk with
beautifully figured mahogany veneer. The desk has 3 mahogany lined
drawers to each side of the top and stands on 2 pedestals with 3 drawers
on one side and a cupboard on the other.
The top
has a black hide writing surface decorated with a gilt tooled border.
This
antique desk has been recently restored including French polishing
which further enhances its rich mahogany colour and well figured veneers.
The drawers have turned wooden handles and all are complete with a
lock.
As an
antique partner’s desk it is of course finished all round and
designed to be freestanding in a room and does not need to be placed
against a wall. The desk is made in 3 parts the top and 2 pedestals
are all separate parts which enable ease of access and transportation.

Condition:
This desk has been restored and is in good condition with keys and
working locks.
