This a well proportioned antique partners
desk with an 'antique finish' green writing surface surrounded
by a three inch band of mahogany with a moulded and rounded edge.
The desk is made from well figured mahogany with an attractive patina.
This very attractive antique desk has three drawers
beneath the top on each side. The drawers all have mahogany linings,
brass locks, original swan neck handles and chamfered drawer fronts.
Each of the pedestals is fitted with three drawers
to the front and a cupboard with shelf and paneled door to the reverse.
They stand on plinth bases which conceal the castors beneath.
The desk is made in three sections with the top separate
to the two pedestals for ease of installation.
