opens a separate window A very attractive antique mahogany partners library table with old burgundy writing leather with blind and gilt tooling. The leather is surrounded by a band of figured mahogany with a 'bulls nose edge' and rounded corners. The writing leather has old mark and dents commensurate with years of use which adds to the appeal of these antique tables. This library table is made from the good quality mahogany timbers and beautiful rich patina. The frieze is fitted with two drawers to each side with ogee mouldings and turned wooded knobs. The drawers have mahogany linings with hand cut dovetails and original brass locks. The table stands on four octagonal legs with the original brass and brown ceramic castors. This lovely small sized antique partners table has good proportions and would make a beautiful office desk or additional computer table in an office or home study. It has been professionally and sympathetically restored and french polished enhancing its lovely rich colour.
