A very good quality antique mahogany writing table with a gallery back and sides which could also be used as an occasional table or side table.
The top of this table is a beautifully figured piece of mahogany with a bull nose moulded edge and two frieze drawers. The front corners of the table are rounded with a moulded and panelled design.
The drawers have ogee moulded edges, turned wooden knobs, mahogany linings and hand cut dovetail joints.
This very attractive table stands on 4 beautifully turned and fluted legs with brass cup castors.
This lovely Victorian mahogany writing table is a very useful size, being wide enough to be used as a small desk. It has recently been restored and is in first class condition.
