This antique Victorian walnut library table is of superb quality. The table is of Gillows standard and may indeed be attributable to them. Made in the 1840's the table is a combination of solid walnut for the base and highly figured veneers for the top.
The top has an antique finish mid-tan leather writing surface with blind and gilt tooling surrounded by a band of figured walnut cross banded with kingwood.
