We specialise in Antique Desks, Antique Writing Tables, Antique Library Tables, Desk Chairs and Library Chairs but we also sell other Antique Furniture such as bookcases and antique clocks.

Gavin Burrell

Gavin Burrell: has over 30 years experience in the antique furniture business, and has a passion for well made quality English furniture.

In 1974 he left his teaching career to follow his life long interest in antiques and started working as an auctioneer for 'Clares Auction Rooms' in Birmingham.
He gained much valuable experience and knowledge in a wide range of antiques and eventually moved on to start his own antique business 'Gavin Burrell Antiques' supplying antique furniture for the trade.

Gavin's business evolved to cover many types of antiques, pianos and Arts & Crafts furniture and today 'Burrell's Antique Desks' is a successful specialist business which also offers good quality antiques desks at competitive prices. Now an internet based business, the antiques are available to anyone not just the trade.

Kathi Burrell

Kathi Burrell: joined the business in 1997 creating the website and is now web-mistress and office manager dealing with telephone enquiries, emails, delivery arrangements and shipping quotes.

"I enjoy the many various duties we need to cover being a small family business, there is always something new to learn and I enjoy speaking to customers and helping them find the right piece of antique furniture to suit their needs.
