This handsome antique gothic revival style oak casket is a very unusual decorative box. It is bound in heavy brass strap-work in the Gothic style.

It stands on neat oak bun feet. The interior of the casket is fitted with a padded, deep claret, water silk base.

This would make a very unusual and original, high quality desk tidy, sewing box or even a jewellery box.
