A good quality antique partners library table or desk constructed from well-figured mahogany timbers.
It has recently been restored and has a replacement black hide writing leather with gilt and blind tooling which is surrounded by
a cross band of figured mahogany and has rounded corners with a thumb-moulded edge.
Each side of the width is fitted with three mahogany lined drawers.
All drawers have hand cut dovetails, brass locks, ogee moldings to the front edges and turned wooden knobs.
The table stands on four boldly turned and reeded legs terminating in the original brass cup castors stamped I .W. LEWTY's PATENT below a crown.
This well proportioned large antique partners library table or desk is in good antique condition with minor knocksand bumbs commensurate with its age and use.
It would be a handsome focal point for a large office, library or study.
